"Sway"

I enter on the balcony above the royal hall
And, as I gaze upon the guests, I think, once more, "Stand tall!"
That is the way to start the dance, the only dance that counts
With a will and with the strength to sway with swing and bounce
From life to life, no more the thought that ever wind will raise
The spectre of that struggle gone along with its own maze
For time does take unto itself, at last, to rake and raze
But, deep inside the endless soul looks on with steady gaze

Excerpt 14 from "Seasons"

The roaring lion roaring more
The crashing waves awash the shore
Just shake the sand from feet and leaves
And, hear the seagull as he grieves
Now, hear the seagull’s lonely cry
Upon the wind, he lets it die
It never will come back, again
'Tis offered up to minds of men

Excerpt 12 from "Seasons"

So, sling the season’s sparkle 'til it scatters ‘cross the sky
And, fling the reason’s nonsense up just like a newborn cry
For, once again, it comes the time to dally round the dance
To raise the hand and bend the knee, no more the don’ts and can’ts
As if I stand upon a cliff with jagged rocks below
The wings will spread and I will fly, for in my heart I know
The seasons, all, will come, again, from summer through to spring
Though the tide is rising, soon, the lowest tide will sing
